Richland Men's Trio Earn Academic All-District Honors

IRVING, Texas – Ten Dallas College men's student-athletes received College Sports Communicators Academic All-District recognition.

The award, nominated, voted on and organized by athletic communication directors across the country and Canada, honors student-athletes who perform at high levels in the classroom and on the playing surface. To be eligible, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, meet significant strict competition requirements and be in their sophomore year academically and athletically. GPAs cannot be rounded up.

This year's Dallas College Athletics CSC Academic All-District men's recipients are: Dallas College Brookhaven baseball players Clayten Mixon and Payton Stephenson, Dallas College Cedar Valley baseball players Blake Brown and Julio Cuotto, Dallas College Mountain View baseball player Adrien Varela, Dallas College North Lake baseball players Makoy Stone and Matthew Wendorf, Dallas College Richland baseball player Dillon Precht and Richland men's soccer players Charles Chimezie and Alexis Cruz.

These student-athletes will now be voted on for CSC Academic All-America honors.
