Farr Named DAC Pitcher of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Richland's Bron Farr was named the Dallas Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.

A sophomore right-hander from San Antonio, Farr went the distance in a 3-1 win over No. 3 Dallas College Eastfield. He worked all nine innings, allowing six hits, an unearned run and no walks, and had two strikeouts in a 94-pitch outing. It was his first complete game of the year.

Farr improved to 6-3 with a 2.54 earned run average and 43 strikeouts in a DAC-leading 88 2/3 innings.

No. 7 Richland (29-22, 18-9 DAC) will finish the regular season with a three-game series against Dallas College North Lake (22-31, 12-15). North Lake is set to host Wednesday's 12 p.m. game, while the Thunderducks are scheduled to host Friday and Saturday's games.
