Thunderducks Place 5 on All-DAC Baseball Teams

DALLAS – Dallas College Richland's Caleb Solis, Brandon Bell and JT Posten were named to the First Team All-Dallas Athletic Conference Baseball Team.

Thunderducks teammates Cooper Reaves and Dillon Precht were Second Team All-DAC selections.

Solis, a catcher, hit .286 with nine home runs, 11 doubles, a triple and 50 runs batted in. He was named the DAC Hitter of the Week in late February.

An outfielder, Bell had a team-best .378 batting average, 19 doubles and 11 home runs and 53 RBI, while stealing two bases. He was named DAC Hitter of the Week in late April.

A right-handed pitcher, Posten went 8-2 with two saves, a 4.16 earned run average and 63 strikeouts in 75.2 innings, while making 21 appearances and four starts. He was named the DAC Pitcher of the Week twice.

Reaves, a utility player, batted .280 with six home runs, five doubles, two triples, 29 RBI and four stolen bases. On the mound, he went 2-1 with a 5.54 ERA and 26 strikeouts in 39 innings.

A right-handed reliever, Precht was 2-1 with a 6.52 ERA and 20 strikeouts in 29 innings and 27 appearances.
