Herrera, Rodriguez Receive Dallas College Coaching Awards

DALLAS – Dallas College Richland men's soccer head coach Raul Herrera was awarded the Dallas College Impact Coaching Award. Assistant Alberto Rodriguez received the Dallas College Emerging Leader Award.

The award, presented by Dallas College's Student Success Department in collaboration with Human Resources, provides a bonus to both full-time and part-time coaches within Dallas College Athletics.

Herrera and Rodriguez guided Richland to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III national runner-up. It was the Thunderducks' second straight runner-up finish after winning six straight championships.

The Thunderducks went 13-3-1 this season. They posted seven shutouts, and extended their conference winning streak to 52 consecutive victories.
