Richland Men's Soccer Earns All-Academic Team Award

DALLAS – Dallas College Richland men's soccer team earned National Junior College Athletic Association All-Academic Team recognition after posting a 3.32 grade point average for the 2024-25 academic year.
"This award reflects the hard work, discipline and dedication our players bring to every aspect of their college experience," Thunderducks head coach Raul Herrera said.
Student-athletes Mikkel Jensen, Alessandro Locatelli and Roi Abutbul received First Team All-Academic honors after maintaining a 4.0 GPA during the school year. Enrique Alvarez, Sebastian Castro, Alexis Cruz, Valerio Del Mastro and Aubry Eason earned Second Team All-Academic honors after recording GPAs between 3.80 and 3.99. Emmanuel Guevara was a Third Team All-Academic recipient.
A team must post a minimum 3.0 GPA for the academic year, with all eligible student-athletes' grades accounted for in the team calculation in order to qualify for the NJCAA academic award.
"We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes," Richland athletic director Lynn Nabi said.
